Paul Cedeno

CEO& Founder

Paul is a published leader passionate about influencing educational and sports programs to benefit inner-city and disadvantaged youth. He has incorporated his excellent communication skills with a drive to help children in at-risk areas. He has been a proven leader for nearly 3 decades. He has empowered students to achieve goals through participating in community sports. His dedication as a professional with the crucial ability to inspire change through program management and technology will be critical in his next adventure.

He graduated from St. Francis College in Brooklyn New York in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. In 2002 he received an MA in Special Education from Tuoro College . He also graduated from Fordham University in 2012 in Manhattan with a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Teaching. He currently teaches sociology at his alma matter college, St. Francis College, and focuses on imperial research.

Paul enjoys cooking, reading, nature and spending time with his 3.5 year old granddaughter.

 
 
 
 
 
 

AWAIS DAR

Coo & Financial advisor

Awais Dar is a CPA certified accountant. He is passionate about accounting and competitive sports. He is not only Youth Stars accountant, but he has also helped out with coaching and organizing our most recent events. He has been a product of Youth Stars since he was in high school and continues to get involved with all aspects of our programs. He has generously donated his time by tutoring students in our program in subject areas like accounting and math. He is fully dedicated with everything he does and he brings a new youth dimension and value to the organization. He will be critical in our next phase in maintaining and creating new programs. 


He graduated from Queens College in New York with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and he also received an MBA. He currently works at Citrin Cooperman as an audit supervisor, and serves as a mentor to his young staff. Awais has a good sense of humor, enjoys sports and is an avid Knicks fan.
