Spanish Acronym Project

Youth Stars Inc. provides tutoring to all grade levels, as well as GED preparation. Our tutoring staff consist of trained professionals: adjuct college professors, high school and elementary certified teachers, and experienced college interns. We tutor every Tuesday from 7:30pm-9:00pm as well as Sundays from 12:30am-2:00pm. Paul Cedeño es maestro certificado de Historia en una escuela
secundaria de la ciudad de Nueva York. Es bilingüe y bien arraigado dentro de sus raíces hispanas. Él es un instructor adjunto que enseña sociología en St. Francis College en Brooklyn Nueva York. El enseña los conceptos básicos críticos y las bases de la investigación de pensamiento crítico. A través de encuestas y grupos de enfoque el ha creado exitosamente una serie de acrónimos útiles y amigables, traducidos al español, para mejorar la comunicación entre la comunidad hispanan.
Porque debo usar las siglas Hispanas?
Hablo y escribo tres idiomas; Inglés, español y el ¡ Idioma de las siglas¡. A pesar de que no parece que existan abreviaturas coloquiales en español, los hispanos, los hispanos bilingües principalmente en el internet y los medios de redes sociales han creado su propio idioma de siglas a lo largo de los años y buscan desesperadamente siglas españolas estandarizadas como los acrónimos estadounidenses que son utilizados y reconocidos ampliamente. Asi la próxima vez, que alguien textea algo
gracioso .... considere responder con "MRM" - Me Rio Mucho en lugar de LOL.
Conexiónes entre las siglas Hispanas y la población hispana
Según la oficina del censo, es un hecho comprobado que cuando el año 2025 llegue, la población hispana va a sobrepasar,en cantidad de personas, a todas las otras razas, por primera vez, superará la raza caucásica. El uso de siglas hispanas permitirá a todos los hispanos poder comunicarse más rápido y eficazmente. La creciente demanda de la población hispana, será sinónima con la necesidad de crecer, tan rapido, como crece nuestra raza. También permitirá que los que no son hispanos puedan comunicarse.

About the creator of the acronym project
Paul Cedeño is a certified social studies teacher at a high school in
New York City. He is bilingual and well rooted within his Hispanic roots. He is an adjunct instructor who teaches Sociology at St. Francis College in Brooklyn New York. He teaches the basic critical concepts and the foundations of critical thinking research.
Through surveys and focus groups he has successfully created a
series of useful and friendly acronyms, translated into Spanish, to
improve communication among the Hispanic community.
Why use Spanish acronyms?
I speak and write three languages; English, Spanish and Spanish
acronym language! Although it does not seem that there are colloquial abbreviations in Spanish, Hispanics, primarily bilingual Hispanics on the Internet and social media have created their own language of acronyms over the years and are desperately looking for standard Spanish acronyms just like their counterpart American acronyms which are widely used and recognized. So the next time someone texts something funny .... consider answering with "MRM" - Me Rio Mucho instead of LOL.
Connections between the Hispanic acronyms and the Hispanic
population

According to the census office, it is a proven fact that when the
year 2025 arrives, the Hispanic population will surpass all other
numbers of people of other races, for the first time, surpassing the
Caucasian race. The use of Hispanic acronyms will
allow all Hispanics to communicate more quickly and efficiently. The growing demand of the Hispanic population will be synonymous with the need to communicate creatively as fast as our race grows.. It will also allow non-Hispanics to communicate and take advantage of this
communication tool.
